We’re thrilled to share that nonesuch.reed quintet has advanced to the live rounds of the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition—one of the most prestigious chamber music competitions in the United States. Each year, only a select group of ensembles is chosen from a highly competitive pool of applicants to perform in front of an internationally recognized panel of artists. Being invited to compete at this level is a major milestone for our ensemble and a meaningful recognition of our artistic work.
Traveling to the competition, however, comes with significant costs, including transportation, lodging, and instrument logistics. As a self-organized ensemble committed to increasing access to high-quality classical music, we rely on the support of our community to make opportunities like this possible.
