In addition to the members of the nonesuch.reedquintet who all serve on our board of directors in various roles, we also have several other team members who make all of this possible!

Aliyah Saldarriaga - Vice President

Aliyah Saldarriaga, a proud native of Las Vegas, Nevada, began her musical journey by earning a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from the University of Nevada, Reno. With a strong foundation in music education, she is passionate about fostering community engagement and inclusivity within her field. Aliyah offers private music lessons both in-person and virtually, demonstrating her adaptability and commitment to reaching students through diverse avenues.

Aliyah has held administrative roles as the President and Vice President of the University of Nevada's National Association for Music Education Collegiate chapter, where she aimed to create opportunities for future music educators and those looking to pursue a degree in music at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Flute Performance at the University of Oregon, Aliyah is expanding her expertise by also pursuing a certificate in nonprofit management. This multidimensional approach highlights her dedication to advancing both her musical abilities and her understanding of organizational leadership.

Aliyah has performed as an orchestral musician with the Reno Philharmonic as well as performed concertos with the Reno Pops and University of Nevada, Reno Symphony Orchestra. Aliyah Saldarriaga is a committed musician, educator, and leader who is actively striving to shape the music community around her.

Clare Griffith - East Coast Marketing Director

Clare Petrou Griffith, originally from Columbus, Ohio, began her violin studies at age six with Chuck Loux through the Ohio State University and began studying chamber music under Deborah Price at the Chamber Music Connection two years later. Clare also studied privately with Susan Locke, Robert Firdman, and Heather Kufchak prior to beginning her undergraduate studies at the College of Wooster with Dr. Thomas Wood.

Throughout her time at the College of Wooster, Clare served as concertmaster of the Wooster Symphony Orchestra and developed a passion for leadership and professionalism in orchestral playing. She also enjoyed singing in the Wooster Chorus under the direction of Dr. Lisa Wong.

Clare is currently pursuing a master’s degree in violin performance at the University of Oregon in the studio of Professor Hal Grossman. Since moving to Oregon Clare has become involved with multiple professional ensembles, holding a section violin position under temporary appointment with the Eugene Symphony Orchestra for their 2022/2023 season, a fellowship position with Orchestra Next (Eugene’s ballet orchestra), and substitute positions with the Eugene Concert Orchestra, Rogue Valley Symphony, Emerald Chamber Orchestra, and Salem Orchestra.

In her spare time Clare enjoys watching classic movies, staying active through yoga and strength training, trying new recipes, and spending time with animals. Clare looks forward to moving to Rochester, NY following graduation to continue working as a freelance violinist
